Bull-Shit!

Former New York Democratic Gov. Mario Cuomo: Wish We Could 'Package' Indian Strength and Intelligence

APRIL 17, 2013

In a recently meeting with Ray Halbritter, Oneida Nation representative and CEO of Nation Enterprises, parent company of Indian Country Today Media Network, former New York Democratic Gov. Mario Cuomo sent a complimentary message to Halbritter and the Nation in light of the 20thanniversary of the government-to-government gaming compact signed in 1993.
“I wish frankly Ray, that we could take the strength you have, the intelligence you have, the experience you have, and that your people have, package it some how and distribute it all over the United States and beyond,” Cuomo said. “Because it’s the magic word – collaboration. Come together, it’s easier, works better.”
During the clip, seen below, Cuomo also discussed what he has seen over the past 20 years around the world. He talks about political division, economic struggles and the more. Cuomo ended his comments with a bit of humor about what a governor actually is.
“A governor was a device attached to a machine to see that it does not operate at maximum efficiency,” Cuomo stated, reciting an introduction by an “ardent Republican” at a speaking engagement.
The Nation held a kick off celebration on April 16 for Turning Stone Resort & Casino’s 20-year anniversary.
